Who is it for?
This 30-Week course is ideal for those progressing from the Level 2 Award or an intermediate welding skill level. You will be required to choose one welding process from Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG), or Manual Metal Arc (MMA).
Candidates who successfully complete this qualification can progress to another process at Level 3 or employment in the welding trades.

Entry Requirements
A Level 2 qualification in Welding or suitable experience.

What does the course involve?
At Level 3 you must produce high precision test pieces for the practical welding element and be able to assess the quality of your welding via destructive testing techniques. A theory assessment will be completed via an online exam towards the end of your course.

How is the course assessed?
Your work will be continuously assessed throughout the course and there will be one online theory exam towards the end of the course.

Suitable full length welding overalls and safety boots are needed.
