- Full driving licence
- An approved Level 3 Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification
- At least 4 years' experience in the Motor Industry (students must now supply their 4 years' employers details prior to enrolment)
- Overalls and protective footwear for college
- No unspent convictions for criminal offences
- What does the course involve?
3 days study at college with a final online assessment. The course is both classroom and practical based.
- How is the course assessed?
The final assessment is an online examination set by the IMI and a practical MOT assessment.

Once successfully completed you will be required to complete 3 hours annual updates/CPD to maintain your status.
