- Who is it for?
This is a Level 4 vocational qualification which provides individuals with advanced levels of specialist technical knowledge, understanding and practical skills required to work as an advanced technician in the following automotive maintenance and repair sectors: Light Vehicle, Heavy Vehicle, Lift Truck or Transport Refrigeration, alongside the development of wider transferable skills for use across the whole retail motor industry.
- Entry Requirements
Learners taking this qualification are likely to be 19 years of age or over and have previously completed an automotive Advanced Apprenticeship or full level 3 qualification in an appropriate subject specialism relating to this qualification.

The qualification has been designed to be practical, engaging and motivating to support learners in gaining the advanced knowledge and skills required by light, heavy vehicle, lift truck and transport refrigeration maintenance employers.
