Drawing from the figure is a classic, traditional skill - these tutored life drawing classes are ideal for those wanting to learn and improve, to build a portfolio or for beginners who would like to just have a go.
- Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements.
- What does the course involve?
You will be introduced to the basics of oil painting. You will learn how to mix flesh colours correctly, use a range of brushes and pallet knives, mediums and additives.
You will be individually guided through a series of easy to follow exercises which will allow you to gain confidence and understanding of painting the human form in oil. - How is the course assessed?
Discussion between tutor and the students as a group and on a 121 basis will take place each week, to help you improve your skills.
- Additional Notes
Please wear old clothes or an apron. You will need kitchen roll and/or old rags (the more the better).
All materials will be supplied.
