Peter Tatchell speaks to students as part of Shrewsbury's National Festival LGBT History

19 February 2016

Peter Tatchell was welcomed to college to talk with students as part of the National LGBT History events in Shrewsbury.

Student Rachel Allcock said of his talk 'It was a very engaging and interesting talk which enlightened me to the great struggle Peter has faced because of his campaigning for LGBT rights as well as human rights in general. It was also surprisingly humorous in places while still highlighting the difficulties faced by human rights campaigners of the past and present.'
