Success for Stuart

27 October 2015

Congratulations to Stuart Bramwell who has been successful in gaining a place in the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. He was one of 600 violinists who were auditioning for only 20 places!

The orchestra is open to students aged between 12 and 18 and he has been successfully placed within the first violin section on this, his first time of applying. It is anticipated that during the year that he’s a member there will be three concerts and in such prestigious venues as the Royal Festival Hall, London and Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool.

Although Stuart studies both A level Geography and Psychology alongside A level Music and the piano, his aspiration is to play professionally in an orchestra and he has applied for Brimingham Conservatoire and Royal Welsh, Scottish, London and Northern colleges of Music.
