Specific requirements

5 grades at 4+/C+ including Maths and English.

What will I study?

In this course, students study a combination of biology, nutrition, sociology, law and ethics and it prepares students for further study or work in care, health or early years professions.

It is a practical course that concentrates on allowing the student to understand how theory underpins practice.

Placements are an essential component of the course in both years.
