David wins Rotary Young Innovator Award

David has recently won the Rotary Young Innovator award with his product an ‘Impossible Wheel’, which is basically a unicycle without pedals. His design is expected to go into production.

This annual competition is open to Product Design students and is a key part of the course run by Charlotte Brock. 

Connor Sturrock came second for his design for an internet mast and Georgie Clarke came third for her flower arranging stand.

David who has studies Maths, Physics and Electronics along side Product Design now goes through to the  West Midlands regional finals in Bromsgrove.  He is hoping to do a 4 year Engineering Higher/Advanced Apprenticeship aiming for a career in Engineering.
