Level 3 Extended Diploma in Photography.
Course Length: 2 years.
A minimum of four GCSEs at grade 4 or above, preferably including English Language, or Level 2 Diploma in Art & Design, at Merit, and a portfolio of art and design work. No previous photographic qualification is required. It is advantageous to own a DSLR camera, although we do have a limited number available for overnight loans.
What will I study?
A broad range of photographic skills, from studio work, fashion, location, documentary to landscape, you will need to complete practical work such as photographic shoots and sketchbook independently. There are 18 units - a mix of some traditional silver based technology and digital imaging.
Where does it lead?
An ideal route for university or careers in the photographic area or other related creative fields. You could progress into fields such as Lens Based Media, or Film Production.
